Our experience is based on over 30 years of Marine design, construction, repair and refit hands on knowledge. Over 1200 boats surveyed to date.

Employed by Broward Marine, working throughout metal and interior joinery (woodworking) departments.  Ben was promoted into the engineering department at Broward Marine at the age of 23, providing design and engineering for the construction of large motor yachts.

Following his tenure at Broward Marine, he joined Hargrave Custom Yachts as the chief designer & naval architect.  More than 50 vessels of his design were built while at Hargrave with many of them still cruising on the South Florida Waterways.

After receiving the 2004 Boat International New Concepts Design Competition in Monaco, Ben ventured out from megayacht and sailboat design to become designer and Project manager for commercial cruise ships, and later the mega yacht refit fleet team at Rybovich Marine Center and head designer for numerous high-performance powerboats.

Decades of experience and collaboration have led to Ben’s vast knowledge of motor yachts, sportfishing boats, large sailing vessels, and high-performance center consoles. In addition, Ben brings hands on knowledge of construction techniques in fiberglass, aluminum, steel, and cold molded construction design for marine vessels.
