Pre-PurchaseSurveys.

A Pre-Purchase survey is performed when you are considering purchasing a new of used vessel. This type of survey is the most in depth and detailed survey we perform. The vessel’s onboard systems and equipment are operated and proven operational. A haul out is typically scheduled on the same day for bottom and drive line/running gear inspection. A sea trial is performed. A written report is then completed with a list of equipment observed onboard, a detailed list of equipment / system deficiencies and other recommendations or safety items that should be addressed. A current market value is given using comparable recent yacht sales and Replacement values is also included in the finished report. This type of survey can also be used by the insurance company prior to writing a new policy. It may also be requested by financial lending institutions to determine current market valuation.
